Plas Y Brenin - National Outdoor Centre - Capel Curig

Food was decent and I have nothing but quite comfortable memories from this trip. The location was stunning and great because it was just off hiking in the Welsh summer, falling in bog and overflowing streams and pen-y-pass.

Stayed here for 1 night with my partner, had a brilliant stay. The breakfast was good and the parking was on site. The employees were knowledgeable and competent.

The check-in time at 5 PM is frustrating with such an early 10 AM checkout!!! I missed having basic amenities like tea and coffee facilities in the room!!! The bathroom could definitely use better ventilation to eliminate odors!!!

I loved the vibe here. The drying room was a lifesaver after hiking, and the packed lunches were a fantastic bonus for my adventures. My single room was clean and well-equipped. The location is perfect for any outdoor enthusiast!

Perfect for outdoorsy folks

The staff were very nice, I had some issues with my wet gear after a long hike and they offered to help dry it out. The breakfast was a feast, generous portions that really set you up for a day in the mountains.

It was a bit pricey, but you know what. It was worth it.

I really enjoyed the generous breakfast with plenty of choices and the lovely view of the mountains while unwinding at the sun terrace. The garden area was perfect for relaxing too. Just a slight issue with the bathroom smell at first, but it got better, so no big deal! 🌄

I had such a fantastic time here. The breakfast was delicious and generous, and the option for a packed second breakfast was a lovely touch. The room was comfy and the bar atmosphere was perfect after a long day! Absolutely coming back again.

The amazing views of the nearby mountains from the dining area enhanced the experience. The lack of a coffee machine in the room was disappointing, and parking could get a bit crowded during peak hours.

Super chill spot for solo adventurers like me. Love that it's open 24/7, so I can roll in late without any fuss. Staff were super friendly, and there's a nice bar area for snacks and drinks. Only thing?
